I find it very hard to describe myself. But I’ll give it a shot.
I’m from Chennai, India, currently living in Dubai working as a communications professional in the aviation industry. However, I’m a person with a wide range of interests – from reading books to photography to travelling (to be resumed when the pandemic permits) to learning languages and ancient history. I’m feminist and vegan.
My blog lacks a central theme and that is because I find it very hard to restrict myself to one theme/ subject. Over the years my blog and my own voice and interest have evolved quite a bit so much so that sometimes some of my older posts are unrecognisable to me. I’ve now been blogging for over 12 years and I’m very grateful to everyone who visits my blog and leaves comments and feedback.

I love to travel vicariously, so I am now following your blog. I also love the details you chose to include in your about. I think it’s the off-the-beaten-track details that actually reveal more than the traditional ones.
Best regards,
Elizabeth

Hi Sukanya. Would you be interested in doing a Blog Tour?
Yes, most definitely- what do you have in mind?
You would have to answer 3 questions about your writing, and (because this is a tour of other blogs) ask 3 others to participate. Would you be adverse to communicating via email? If not, I have a contact page on my blog – just so neither of our email addresses are published.
What a marvelously empowered young women you are. I thoroughly enjoyed reading about your interests and looking at the photos you have taken. May you continue to amaze and inspire all who read your blog.
Thank you so much for visiting my blog and for your comments.

Dear Dr. Sukanya Ramanujan:
I learnt from some comments of yours that you are the granddaughter of a sister of Sir P. Rajagopalachari. My grandmother’s grandmother, Kanakam, was also a sister of Sir PR. I am editing a book about him by his grandson, and have put in on open access at

You might like to take a look at this and I would be grateful for your comments.
Was your grandmother called Chenga?
