I captured this star trail at my home in Chennai. I must admit that Chennai is one of the most light polluted cities in the world. Added to that, I also had a waxing moon to contend with. Still my camera managed to capture many a faint star resulting in this glorious star trail image. If this is how many stars you can find in a light polluted sky, how much more marvelous would a dark sky be?

    It’s a thought provoking image because you see the beautiful star trails but the pillar of urban living (aka cell tower) smack in the middle…
