Dreamy Images (from Rome)

I wanted to write a longer and wordier post but my weekend has just whizzed past..

The Roman Colosseum
The Roman Colosseum captured with a wide angle fisheye lens.

The first image is obviously identifiable as Rome. The image was captured using a wide fisheye lens. It would be impossible to otherwise capture the entire circumference from this close.

The other image has a very ‘taken from space against Blue Earth’ look. Even on the planet it could have been taken anywhere I suppose but I shot these bubbles on the Via Dei Fori Imperiali on a Sunday morning. The road is closed to vehicles on Sunday so it takes on a super festive appearence with musicians, buskers and tourists.

Tomorrow is a Sunday but I won’t be in Rome.

Feels kinda like a day where you go out on a picnic and fall asleep under wide open skies….
