Eclipse, Dramatic Moon

If you missed the news about the red moon, super moon and the blue moon that happened today (I know! whatever will they come up with next?), you have probably been living under a cave and I don’t mean that in a bad way.

I had resolved not to take any special efforts to photograph the moon- that it was all too hyped. But what do I know? My windows face east and before I know it I’m staring at thin waxing crescent of the moon rising near the next building.

I couldn’t follow the entire eclipse as the moon had already started growing when it rose and then a bunch of clouds decided to hijack the show.

The clouds seemed especially beautiful and spectacular and so I decided to take a few photographs of them too.
