Year in review: 10 images from 2017

Wow! 2017 is almost done. In a few more hours, we will begin a new year. A new cycle of winter, spring, summer and fall or summer, fall, winter and spring if you live in the southern hemisphere- at least in fashion if not in real weather patterns.

2017 was my first full calendar year in Dubai. By now, I have lived in this city longer than any other place- with the exception of Chennai. I saw the chilly and cool weather of summer turn to a broiling and suffocating summer turn into a cool and pleasant winter once again.

Personally the year was a roller coaster- it had its ups, it had its downs and you were screaming right through it (just kidding!). At the start of the year I could not have predicted how the end of the year would turn out. But hey, we wouldn’t have it any other way would we?

How was your year, did you enjoy it?
