Weekly Photo Challenge: Connected- Europe & Asia

This week’s challenge invites us to post photographs that show how people, places or objects are connected.

I immediately thought of Istanbul – the crossing point of Europe and Asia. I ploughed through the pictures from my recent trip and was delighted to find a fairly decent shot of the second Bosphorus Bridge (or the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge as it is called) connected Europe (on the right) and Asia (on the left). You can also see Rumeli fortress on the left.

I shot this photograph from our day cruise boat. That day they seemed to have some kind of pre-run for a sailing competition.
