Happy Diwali! (Again!)

It’s that time of the year everyone! When entire cities in the country feel like warzones with explosives going off without a break and the air is heavy with the smell of smoke.
So enjoy the free fumigation- at least the mosquitoes won’t bite you for a while. Happy Diwali!

Good stuff, Sukanya! I don’t think it’s true of Christmas – the kids still get up early, but that’s because Santa arrives and they get the presents early in the morning. 😉 Is Diwali the most important family holiday in India? As always, great content on your site. 🙂

Hi Richard, thanks for visiting. Yes Diwali happens to be very important all over India. It wasn’t traditionally a festival where people got presents but it’s turning into one now thanks to online retailers.

(And apologies, but I am coming via your last post with the fireworks, not this one from last year! But it’s all good.)
