Visualising Beauty

Beauty lies in the eye of the beholder- or so they say. What one finds beautiful, another may not. But there are some universal things that almost everybody finds beautiful- a beautiful landscape, a glorious sunrise, a bunch of flowers and so on. Here’s what I found beautiful this morning!

A heart warming sight! We forget to take notice of the miracles in the throes of our humdrum lives..

Yes, we must notice the small things

  3. How lovely! Reminds me to look at the crocuses, and not the snow (!) today.

Snow! Wow! I would love to see some snow right now!

      1. I’m not sure if this will work, but this is pretty much how everyone feels about snow here this time of year:

Though I don’t think anyone has *this* much snow still outside of the Arctic.

It is beautiful! This reminds me of my Granny, who used to have a bottle-brush tree in her back yard and the hummingbirds constantly zoomed around it, drinking nectar. Thanks for the memory! 😀

Do you know what this flower is called? Very lovely.

I believe it’s called the bottle brush!

Our bottlebrush is a huge attraction to hummingbirds this time of year. This is a wonderful plant–no water necessary, just some light pruning and it pops with red blooms.
