The One Thing to Do at Hong Kong

If you had only a few hours at Hong Kong and were allowed to do only one thing, what would it be?

I would certainly recommend a visit to Victoria Peak.  Hong Kong surprises the first time visitor with its sheer variety. With skyscrapers on the one hand and lush mountains on the other (and all within such a short distance of each other) and fronted by the sea, Hong Kong is quite an amazing city. Victoria Peak offers the best vistas from where Hong Kong can be enjoyed.

The Peak is quite easy to reach and the most fun way to get there is by the Peak tram, a funicular railway that makes a steep ascent along the mountain.  Though the wait to get on the tram can take sometime and the scramble to get seats inside the tram can also be quite an adventure.

All in all the views from the top of the Peak tower are totally worth the wait and the effort!
