Black Naped Hare

Black Naped Hare

This is apparently also called the common Indian Hare. Though I have never seen it before- I guess it must have something to do with living in the city.  I didn’t like the horizontal stick in the foreground, however I was shooting from a distance and did not have much flexibility.

Well Camouflaged

Shot from a distance the hare is quite well camouflaged in the general foliage.

Hi Vineet, this was at B R Hills. We were so far away I think the hare was still trying to figure out whether to run or not.

It looks so trusting!! Even the stick is natural somehow.
