Crested Serpent Eagle

We were going on our early morning safari at Kabini. It is always an exciting thing to go on a safari- looking out eagerly for sightings of animals and birds. The first sighting is always exciting and stays in your mind for a long time. That’s when I saw this beautiful crested serpent eagle- perched on a branch. After being photographed for a few minutes, the bird flew away but we think we caught up with it (or met a closely related friend/ cousin/ sibling) later on that morning.

These tourists here already?
