More Window Art

The windows in the Leh palace are built in the Tibetan style. First constructed in the 17th century and abandoned in the 19th century, the palace is still a ruin with most rooms being dark and filled with rubble. The Archeological survey of India is supposedly restoring the palace though it would be hard to perceive any results looking at the skeleton of the palace.

The glass on the window panes are old, cracked and unwashed but they still provide a mesmerising view of the mountains.
