This is apparently also called the common Indian Hare. Though I have never seen it before- I guess it must have something to do with living in the city. I didn’t like the horizontal stick in the foreground, however I was shooting from a distance and did not have much flexibility.
Shot from a distance the hare is quite well camouflaged in the general foliage.

Hi Vineet, this was at B R Hills. We were so far away I think the hare was still trying to figure out whether to run or not.
It looks so trusting!! Even the stick is natural somehow.
The second pic is more distinct than the first – it looks like it was happy to pose!
I thought it was indecisive!
